Although a solemn occasion with attendees in pensive mood, but the huge turn out at the 8th day Fidau Prayer for our late sister, Hajarat Folashade Alake Sanusi (nee Balogun), is a testimony to the love and admiration that the departed enjoys, even after physical transition.
Today, a large number of family, friends, colleagues, school mates and neighbours gathered to pay their last respects to our late sister and to pray for the repose of her soul.
The Islamic clerics were in their elements as they offered prayers, gave sermon on the inevitability of death, even as they extolled the virtues of the departed mother and grandmother.
May Allah grant her an ample space in Aljanah Firdaus.
